…in that suckers are getting smoked in this film, straight up.
Rarely when a skull is used well in an image such as a one sheet that’s meant to evoke a strong reaction, does that image fail. And this one certainly doesn’t. It sends a fairly simple message: these guys are aces of death…and reminiscent of a pretty insect (not quite sure about that last part). IGN has the complete poster over at their joint (FYI, synopsis is slightly spoilery), so click the image to be transported to coolness.
Thanks to Brian for the tip
EDIT: Also, thanks to good ole Moltisanti for passing along word of this artwork featuring Sly over at Collider. Click the image for the whole thing. Good stuff:

NICE. Although the poster won't live up to its foreshadowing of gory violence, since it's still going to be PG-13, right?
If this movie isn't a hard R then Lionsgate and Avi Lerner are completely up their own assholes. This has gotta be chock full of carnage or else it will end up being a huge disappointment. C'mon Sly, give us what we want.
of course this is gonna be R. Look at the last Rambo movie, that was R.
This poster alone warrants an R rating.
That's a pretty sick poster.
It's been stated on this site the movie's PG-13. I didn't even know there was a chance at this point that it could be R. Is that really a possibility still?
The names are lined up in a skull as well. The marketing people did their homework
Fuck me. People are gonna die. i hopr there are no press screenings for this.
Give shitty scores to the film in the PG-13 test screening!!! then they'll go with Hard R!! It aint difficult!
Fuck! Doesn't Sly have final cut by now!!??! He's only been in the business for like 35 years!!
What!? No "Floating Heads?" Fuck this poster.
Stone Cold! Stone Cold!! Stone Cold!!!
Stallone looks great in that poster! I had heard he tried getting Van Damme to do this, too, but the Muscles from Brussels backed out. Either way, this had better be a super-hard "R" with a so-bloody-it's-vomit-inducing director's cut dvd.
By the way, their next assignment should be to take out CHUD's webmasters for this damn capcha shit.
I think it's Steve Austin. At least I hope it is.
