I don’t know where you would see an ad whose main tagline is “Holy fucking shit,” but it’s somewhere in the UK, I guess. This new international Kick Ass ad is built completely around a quote from my review, and so of course it debuted on… Film School Rejects.

That's very very wet…and wonderful. — On our Movie Show last night here in Oz one of the reviewers was so shocked and disturbed he framed his piece as a public service announcement, while his female offsider just cackled with delight.
This just might get bigger attention than Devin's praising of G.I. Joe that found its way into newspaper articles.
A movie about a kid murdering people and making jokes about giant cocks. Targeted at those basement dwelling pedophilic geek lardasses. What joy!
It looks like Superbad with bad taste and zero focus.
@UggleWuggle Are you being sarcastic, or are you actually that fuckin stupid. By the way, it's spelled PAEDO
This film is actually that fucking brilliant. Great fun, smart and actually really sweet at times. Can't believe this came from a Mark Millar comic. @#3: Well, there are definitely some murders – but it's mostly just killing and severe beatings. The paedo stuff? That's all yours creepy guy.
@UggleWuggle: You actually don't mind looking like a complete ignoramus in public?
There is absolutely NOTHING in this film that sexualises children. NOTHING. Only real sickos could make that inference.
Oh and it's MUCH better – and funnier – than Superbad – and it's not even a comedy (well, it is, but it's so much more). Despite the violence, it ultimately has a warm heart and a positive message (that standing up to the evil around us is a good thing) and has some clever things to say about the genre and modern life.
It's actually 'targeted' at those who are sick of trite, unoriginal, unfunny movies which take themselves too seriously and forget to entertain – which is what this movie does in spades. It is witty, clever, funny, well-observed, stylish and brilliantly put together.
This is to the superhero genre what Shaun of the Dead was to the zombie genre.
It really is THAT good.
Saw this yesterday too, no paedo. The closest to paedo is one kid saying "I think I'm in love" and the other kid saying that she's 11 and he replies "I can wait." anyway, the movie starts slow but becomes fucking incredible
