I got tipped off that there are a couple of sneak peeks at the upcoming Drawn Together Movie: The Movie, which is coming to DVD on April 20th, over at Facebook. Didn’t even know a movie was in the works, but with these clips, and the assload of trailers on YouTube, if you caught the majority of them, you’ve probably already seen the damn thing.
I reviewed the final season on DVD a couple of years ago and liked the show for it’s mean-spirited atmosphere, the gross out humor and its general f— everything attitude. Yet I had completely put it out of my mind. But it didn’t take long to remember what the show was all about, and the movie seems to take the barriers that the cartoon faced and wipe its ass with them. And that’s probably one of the less offensive elements to it.

Yay, an unfunny, shitty show is now an unfunny, shitty movie!
I sat through a panel for this movie last year at Comic-Con so I could get a seat for the Kung-Fu Cinema panel. Disclosure: I've been indifferent to the show- thought bits were funny, thought the general idea was cute, but the overall execution was mediocre and pedestrian. The clips of the movie they showed… it was horror. It was horror so unfunny that I swear to god that I think I felt an organ deep in my gut open and bleed slowly into my bowels.
Dear God, this show is getting a movie? Ughhhhhh.
Why do fans of this crap outnumber the fans of true genius like King of the Hill? Why don't they make that into a movie? Instead we get the animated equivalent of the Super Mario Bros. movie. Doesn't anyone remember how bad that was?
Wow, you people need to bitch more. King of the Hill is terrible IMO. I mean sure, if you like a cartoon that turns every day real life situations into some sort of dry humor, then all the power to you. But if you like the twisted humor of Family Guy and throw in a hatred of reality tv with a dusting of everything else that is politically incorrect you get a complete abomination of utter hilarity. Whether it's King of the Hill, Drawn Together, Mario Bros movie, etc… there is going to be an audience for it and we all know there's an audience for everything no matter how plane jane boring or sick and utterly twisted.
I for one am waiting on pins and needles waiting for this movie to come out, and when it does I will be wearing a pair of adult diapers because I will be laughing so hard.
