I don’t seem to recall news of a third Lost Boys film being made. I still have yet to see Lost Boys: The Tribe. Although, from what I understand on that 2008 direct-to-DVD film, I can take my time. A lot of time. As much time as I need to. Regardless, there is a third film out: Lost Boys: The Thirst, and the trailer is now up at YouTube (I caught it at Collider).
The synopsis (via Wikipedia): When veteran vampire hunter Edgar Frog finds himself destitute and
almost friendless, he thinks he has hit rock bottom, but then
vampire-romance novelist Gwen offers him a small fortune to go on a
vampire hunt and rescue her son from an alpha vampire. With the help of
his friends, he prepares for a bloody battle.

I can't get a direct to DVD Supernatural movie but they can make not one but two of THESE damn things?!
Judging from the vampire effects they must have spent all their money on licensing the Twisted Sister song.

The designer drug is vampire blood? I guess they have been watching True Blood. I refuse to see this movie and just like Mr. Oliver I have yet and never want to see the second one.
Oh God, this basically sounds like Feldman's life, minus the vampires and millionaire romance novelists.
Oh shit I could have totally had the scoop on this months ago. Feldman came into my store I believe before Christmas, and was talking about how he had just finished writing a script for this movie. I had completely ignored this comment, as America has ignored his career post Goonies, because the man didn't own a credit card and was upset that we wouldn't take his check.
Also he tried to use his "clout" to get an increase on the video games he was trading in.
I got offered tickets to a test screening of this earlier this week. Said "no thanks." Instead, I saw SCOTT (MOTHERFUCKING) PILGRIM VS. THE WORLD and it was glorious!!!!!
This cheap bullshit has nothing to do with The Lost Boys.
This looks twice as good as the 2nd one. But of course that one sucked major donkey balls. So…

Well, its dtdvd, it looks better than part 2? I guess that's not saying a lot but it MIGHT at least be watchable?
That's about as close to a 2nd Lost Boys sequels as I like to get.

Actors, writers, directors etc often don't have credit cards or mortgages because there is no guarantee of a consistent income so they're too much of a credit risk.
This guy is a definite credit risk. I'd watch this if they dug up Corey Haim and hung him in the back ground for a few scenes.

All you need is handful of GREAT actors and a fantastic script and you can make a fantastic movie for virtually no money. Guerrilla film making…I don't know what the hell this movie is.
It actually looks like they spent entirely too much money. A little planning goes a long way and could have put Lost Boys back on the map.
