Looks like Kevin Spacey may be getting in touch with his inner Buddy Ackerman again as he’s just signed onto Horrible Bosses for director Seth Gordon and New Line. The pic centers on three
best friends who, frustrated by their jobs, come to the conclusion
the only solution is to kill one another’s bosses. Bosses stars Jason Bateman, Charlie Day
and Jason Sudiekis as the three friends, who work for Jennifer Aniston, Colin Farrell and now Spacey, who plays Bateman’s boss, a master manipulator
with an attractive wife. Also part of the cast uis Jamie Foxx, who plays a scam artist. Reportedly, Tom Cruise, Philip Seymour Hoffman and Jeff Bridges were in talks for the role before Spacey nabbed it.
Spacey is no stranger to the workplace, having played bosses such as the aforementioned Ackerman in Swimming With Sharks, as well as John Williamson in the great Glengarry Glen Ross. He was also on the other side of the cubicle as a put-upon office worker who sticks it to his boss before quitting in American Beauty. Spacey also has Casino Jack, Inseparable and Margin Call upcoming.

Charlie Day in a major movie?!?! Yay!!!
Is it bad that I now assume a movie will suck, simply for having Kevin Spacey in it? Because that could be a funny premise. But then, Spacey.
Hard for me to believe he beat out Cruise, Bridges or even Hoffman. Based on his track record of failure since 1999? Maybe he "nabbed" it when they didn't take it? The guy has a few good tricks, I'll give him that.
Why the photo from 1992? Is that the period Oliver thought Spacey was hottest or something?
HURLYBURLY! why does that movie get no love?
Hurlyburly is great if only for having a scene where Chazz Palminteri throws Meg Ryan out of a speeding car
