This image, from one of four new Green Lantern posters sent to CHUD by Warner Bros this morning, raises the question of why didn’t we see this at Comic Con? I’m in the middle of writing up my winners and losers of the Con, and while the Harry Potter and Sucker Punch portions of the WB panel were great, the dull thud of Green Lantern holds them back from really getting glory.

Check out the full poster below, as well as the other three that Warner Bros sent.

Lively and Reynold's noses look bulbous.
Nice mustache. Doesn't save this project from going under the heading of "Suspect at Best" though.
This looks shit
What does a green lantern do anyway? He illuminates the baddies?
Sinistro looks like Gob Bluth. Maybe that was his magician stage name.
i hope ryan reynolds' unique mix of over-and-underappreciatedness can pull this thing together, and that they bring a certain degree of humor into this, as green lantern is easily one of the cheesiest and least filmable superheroes out there.
shit.
Reynolds buries another superhero franchise.

You guys are bitches. This looks cool.
This movie will rock the mustache!
Cheesy catch phrase, check. stupid powers, check. horrible rogues gallery, check. dumbest weakness, check. I have no hopes for this movie.
Ya can't polish a turd. They can try but at the end of the day its a guy with a magic ring. I hope he imagines a giant hammer to squash his enemies! LOL! Epic fail.
@ #5: It's not magic Micheal, it's an ILLUSION!
#8: Couldn't agree more.
"Whiny Snark" seems to be the default setting for most fanboy input these days.
I, for one,am glad that WB's being a little more secretive with it – I know folks like to have everything spelled out for them, but I prefer to go see a film without any preconceived notions.
It's all in the timing–this film is still shooting, and they're not in postproduction yet, but it will be released before the next Comic-Con. There probably isn't much to show yet.
THIS MOVIE LOOKS LIKE ITS GOING TO BE AMAZING! The pictures look really cool and the cast is amazing!!!
