For the record, I don’t watch shows like So You Think You Can Dance. Couldn’t care less about them. So I have really no knowledge nor preference one way or the other about Stephen “tWitch” Boss. Got to say though, it’s fairly rare when a reality show / contest show performer can make the transition to the big screen, which is what Boss has managed to do with the announcement that Boss has landed roles in two upcoming films from Trimount Pictures. In the first, Perfectus, Boss will play Marcel X, a superhero
mutant who sets out to save what is left of the destroyed planet.
Malcolm McDowell, Tom Savini, Elise Avellan, Electra Avellan and
Danny Trejo also star in the project, which is scheduled to begin
production in the fall. Boss then will star in Trimount’s Ushers.
Boss will next be seen in Step Up 3D and Stomp The Yard 2: Homecoming. He’s previously had minor roles in Hairspray and Blades of Glory as dancers.

I only ever watched one season of SYTYCD and it was the one Stephen Boss was in. I have to say I quite enjoyed it, in spite of the judges, but I quite caught on to the following seasons. Boss seemed very charismatic and stood out among a crew of charismatic contestants.
It would be interesting to see what he can bring to the big screen, if it's anywhere near as good as his dancing, it should be entertaining indeed.
