Apologies for the JoBlo headline and pic (love you guys!), but it’s hard not to stop paying attention to this trailer after that little moment. I’m only a man, after all.
But the full trailer for Darren Aronosfky’s Black Swan is now online on Apple and looks pretty damn fascinating, especially coming from the man. It’s not quite the Argento-fest that we all dreamed of when we heard of the “girl going insane in a dance school” plot, but there are quite a few more supernatural elements than you might expect from the director…
Check it out right here and wonder if Portman’s been rubbing up against the tree of life. December 1st, folks! Every Aronofsky film should be an event, after all.

I felt a bit of old school Argento watching this.
Reminds me a lot of Polanski's earlier thriller / horror films.

Fuck Argento. I don't mean that. I mean, fuck homage. Honestly, I do not want to see Aronofsky doing his best Argento impression. Do not. God no. I'd rather have Aronofsky invent a little more original cinematic language, because that's what he's proven really good at so far: the way his films are put together is not reminiscent of anyone else out there, and I love him for his unique POV even when I don't love his films.
Plus Natalie Portman making out with Mila Kunis.
I'm pretty sure there was a masturbating Portman in there too… yup there it is at 1:35 and at 1:21 Mila touches Natalie in her no-no place.
