ShockTillYouDrop has the first look at David Tennant as Peter Vincent from the upcoming Fright Night remake. Pretty safe to say that Doctor Who has left the building on this one. But it looks like Lucian strolled right in the door, as Vincent is a dead ringer for Michael Sheen’s Lycan, complete with lack of shirt. If he can push bullets out of his head with a thought, this film could really turn into something. In the updated movie, Vincent is going to have a magic act called Fright Night at the Hard Rock in Vegas, hence the banner in the pic. Fright Night is directed by Craig Gillespie and stars Anton Yelchin, Colin Farrell,
Imogen Poots, Toni Collette, Christopher Mintz-Plasse and Tennant. It opens on October 7th of next year.

Looks like they should have cast Russell Brand and saved on wardrobe costs.
Let me get this perfectly clear: They are changing the Peter Vincent Character from a venerable pastiche of vincent Price and Dr. Demento into a David Blaine/ Chris Angel type? This has lost me. The whole concept behind
the Peter Vincent character was that he was a fake vampire killer on tv that a dumb and impressionable kid figured would have real world knowlede of something he witness after perv peeping on a sweater wearing greasballs' night games.
There is no way a kid will want to consult a gothed out stage magician for anything other than buying cheap speed or getting old Bathory tapes copied from the tape deck in his van. I wouldn't trust a dude that looked like that with anything let alone how to kill the undead rapist next door.
This movie shall now be call Fail Night.
I'd like to quote the best title to a television episode, per Supernatural: "Criss Angel is a douche"
"You're acting like a pack of rabid DOGS!" You think Michael Sheen's still pissed about doing that flick because it lost him Beckinsale to Weisman? I would be!
This looks terrible.
So, can we agree to stop watching remakes? Let's just ban the damn things, please. How can we be organized? Can anyone help? Stop the badness!
I have a lot of affection for the original Fright Night and would usually agree with your sentiment #6. But would that have prohibited me form seeing the ultra-fun PIRANHA 3D? Because if so then I cannot join such a movement. (I'd argue though that it's a sequel – especially as it has a '3' in the title).
Why does this guy look more like Jack Sparrow than Johnny Depp did in that last spot?
I sort of hate that I know what a Lycan is without needing it explained.
