The Alamo Drafthouse in Austin, Texas, is easily one of the more famous cinemas in America. It’s a great place to grab some food to go along with your movie, then pick up some collectibles from their own store, Mondo.
Well today marks the final day of Fantastic Fest, and they are celebrating it with the release of a Salacious Crumb poster by Rhys Cooper. Crumb was last seen picking the eyes out of C3PO’s face, which this poster wonderfully commemorates! These things tend to sell out really, really fast, so if you’re interested in getting a copy you’d best head over there now, as only a select number are being made available in their store.

Well I was interested until I saw the $50 price tag. My love and appreciation for Salacious Crumb only goes so far.
The alamo drafthouse is not know at all. It was pimped hard by Harry knowles and like everything else Harry does Chud had to copy it and is pimping it even harder. No one else cares about that shitkicker place. You guys ought to be even more ashamed than Mondo for pimping a $50 poster. What a fucking joke.
I think the reason Chud is "pimping" the Alamo Drafthouse is because they're doing great work, and when someone does great work, you let people know about it. Anyone who has seen a movie there knows that it's a great experience, and they are doing their best to bring back the fun of seeing a movie at a theater, in a time when going to a theater is more of a chore, what with having to deal with dirty theaters, loud obnoxious patrons and no employees to tell them to shut up, the Alamo Drafthouse is doing something that should be commended and duplicated by other movie theaters around the world.
So yeah, fuck CHUD for trying to get the word out, what a bunch of jerks.

The Alamo is a model of success for anyone involved in small, independantly owned movie theatres and is well known and respected in that community. When is the last time Taranitno had a film fest. at your house?
Next time you're hungry, go down to CostCo and get the family size bag of dicks.
I had the wonderful opportunity to attend fantastic fest this year with my girlfriend. We flew in from florida and this was my first time visiting the Alamo Drafthouse and I was amazed. They really do make it fun to go to the movies again. I'm a huge movie fan but I rarely go to see movies anymore because it really is more of a chore than a pleasure with all the talking and shit you have to deal with. I will pimp the drafthouse every chance I get. It deserves every once of praise it receives.
Aw, Goddamn there should be a Alamo Drafthaus in TN, at least in Sevier County alone. I would so make it my Mecca =(
