As promised, Rockstar just sent over the trailer for Red Dead Redemption‘s upcoming DLC, the Undead Nightmare pack. This single player content will feature a brand new story that sees protagonist John Marston traveling all over the Americas in search of a cure for the zombie plague.
It’s much campier than you’d expect for such a serious game. The trailer shows off an absolute ton of zombies attacking our hero, as well as a little surprise at the end. Also, looks like poor Bonnie is in distress- y’all better remedy that and make sure she doesn’t get bit. But honestly, this is one of the weaker trailers Rockstar has ever put out… hopefully it doesn’t reflect on the quality of the DLC.
There’s no solid release date for the content yet but expect it to hit soon!

Not sold. The game was strong enough without the zombie bullshit. And zombies are played out – you'd think RockStar, a company seemingly in tune with with what's hip, would get that.

You can't judge much by the trailer, but considering how great a game Red Dead is, I'd expect this to be pretty damn cool. Can't wait to see what the story behind the zombie outbreak is.
