The Weinstein Company just released this new poster (via IGN) for Apollo 18, their 100% factual documentary about NASA’s undocumented final trip to the moon. Give thanks to Night Watch director Timur Bekmambetov, who was hired by Russia to shoot a documentary about a space station and found this footage that proves unequivocally that we’ve met extraterrestrial life forms.
Get your tinfoil hats ready for March 4th 2011, when Apollo 18 hits theaters. Their official site went up today as well but there’s nothing on it just yet.
For anyone interested in actual space travel, I would highly recommend picking up a copy of Mary Roach’s Packing for Mars, an excellent and entertaining read that’s just as great as we’ve come to expect from the author. Forget the usual documentaries and books on the subject, here Roach finds answers to all the real important questions you’ve had about living in a void. For example, can you die from throwing up in your helmet during a space walk, how to bathe without using water and how long your underwear takes to disintegrate without changing it, and the logistics of having sex in space and how people probably already have (though no one’s talking).

and They Might Be Giants provide the score?
Velociraptors on the moon, FTW!!
Renn goes for a shout out to the Roach! Good job, son…that book is piece of gold. (On a side note, if you happen to see Nunziata tell him he's still an regal asshole.)
#3 – You're a moron. Ever heard of reading comprehension?
whats with all these alien movies??? skyline, cowboys and aliens, apollo 18, battle los angeles, transformers 3, and probably much more im forgetting
this smacks of an upcoming disclosure!
#5: In times of hardship society turns to escapist fare, tales of fictional monsters so terrifying that the very real everyday threats we face pale in comparison, at least for that brief span of time that we sit before the silver screen and wall away the outside world. That, and, oh yeah, Hollywood's utter creative bankruptcy and overwhelming risk-aversion.
MoonTrap 2011!..Ahahahahaha.
Kelly Preston's dry vagina? Really man….?
Kelly Preston's dry vagina isn't a bad name for punk band. Just sayin'.
