Hey Thor! If you hold the hammer near the end of the handle you get more force. Might want to keep that in mind when you’re facing those Asgardian villains.
Marvel just released this first official poster of Thor, which looks a lot more stark than you’d expect from the property. Love that they didn’t even have to include a logo, just that massive hammer which surely isn’t overcompensating for anything.
Thor opens on May 6th, and the first trailer should hit the net sometime today (Friday). We’ll let you know when it does…

Still on the fence about Thor but I will yield to Kenneth Branagh this time around.
Can't help but feel that this poster is a huge mistake- unbelievably generic. This could be a frickin' poster for any movie at all- not a movie about THE NORSE GOD OF THUNDER. There should be rain, and lightning, and the hammer held high, and he should be screaming like a madman, and, and, and titties. Titties everywhere, and a mummy covered in day-glow green bandages, and HE'S CUTTING… A KIWI.
That's just my opinion, I could be wrong.

BSSiglets, I can tell you this. Branagh loves his long shots, 360 shots and his dutch angles. The man loves to move the camera.
They remade the Hellboy teaser poster. All they did was turn him to the right instead of the left.

Branagh's a coin flip. Seen enough bad Branagh to have no faith in this whatsoever. But I'm a comic nerd, so I'll remain hopeful. (attempt 5)
Can't help thinking that any poster they release five months out can't be huge mistake. I am looking forward to this movie, but more with curiosity than any "nerd-boy jizz buildup."

I am extremely sick of movie teaser posters in which characters have their back turned. Christ, enough is enough.
Confused, you've seen the 5 min. Comic-Con footage, but there hasn't been an official trailer yet. (I've never seen a captcha so easy to read yet taking so many attempts to get right…)
The end of the hammer is bigger than his head. The cape…doesn't mean anything to the character. This poster implies it defines him. You can barely see the actor's face. Its a shit poster for what I expect will be something less enjoyable than Clash of the Titans. Oh and as usual get a new word captcha. It's seriously like 5 mins work. Give me your admin login and I'll do it. Though this is all probably built on some open source garbage CMS like AICN. Learn from their mistakes. Cutting corners with web is inadvisable;e.
I like how that thing's got a "wii-mote" like safety strap. Because like a wii-mote, you DO NOT want that thing accidentally flying at your 52" LCD tv (sigh…)
