Between this and The Manitou poster, I feel like I’m seeing old comic book ads for x-ray glasses. At least the theme made sense with The Manitou…here my reaction is WTF?
are you kidding me?! do you know anything about Bane or the Batman comics? Bane is known for breaking Batman’s back.

Love the BATMAN piece, but I would totally cheat on it with that NiGHTHAWKS poster. Seriously. Who is this artist and how can I convince them to do every comic cover, one-sheet and movie poster for every project I’m working on?
When Bane breaks Batman’s back in TDKR I think I’ll throw up. It’s sure to be the most brutal moment in Nolan’s trilogy. I’m guessing Bruce Wayne will have some kind of experimental stem cell therapy to get him walking again.
As I am not a comic book guy, so rebuke accepted. So does the title refer to Batman rising from a hospital bed?
I agree with you man, don’t backtrack. If this was just a “batman” poster, then awesome… but it’s poster for a film we know nothing about. Lets say Bane doesn’t break Batman’s back (I’m willing to bet the house he doesn’t), then this poster, after the fact, makes no sense. It’s cool, I’ll give the artists that, but drop the film title, and just make it Batman. It would be like having a Iron Man 2 poster, and showing him in rehab, or a Captian America: the First Avenger poster, and having him laying on the ground with a gunshot to the head.
I’m willing to bet that scenario never happens at all, lol. Bane’s a criminal mastermind, so, I’d say that’s the kind of Bane we’ll get, not the back-breaking ‘roid abuser.

*sigh* another perfectly symmetrical, highly filtered, hipster looking piece of “art”. I am glad you guys have an artist that you dig, but I am not impressed. I try not to be negative around here, but as an artist I find this guy’s work underwhelming and pedestrian.
Agreed. It was fun at first, but he needs to branch out.
