The Hangover 3 has a release date set for May 24, 2013, so that all but certifies that it’s going to be a massive hit since that’s the same release date as the second one, and well, people love The Wolfpack. I was quite the fan of Part II. Saw it 3 times in the theater.
No details on where they’ll be going this time have been released thus far.
The 300 sequel is set for August 2, 2013, and frankly I could care less. I wasn’t as in love with the first one as a lot of others were, but I found it to be decent entertainment. So for those that do care it will come out in August.
The (sort of) sad news is that the great Guillermo Del Toro’s film, Pacific Rim, has been bumped from May 10, 2013 to July 12th. I say sort of, because we all know what happened to Hellboy II in a July release*, but here’s hoping that this means they will ramp up marketing for it and pump it up as a summer tentpole feature. That way it can be a success and give Del Toro the clout he needs to get At The Mountains Of Madness up and finally running.
*In it’s second weekend it went up against The Dark Knight and had a 71% drop, but had a $35 Million opening weekend and was number one. So even though it performed moderately, it wasn’t a big success and didn’t clear it’s budget. I still hold out the smallest inkling of hope for Hellboy 3.

Rene F. Rangel, I am disappointed in the direction of the 300 Sequel being about the villain of the original film. I would much rather see, the promise of all the Greek City States uniting against the would be…God. Pacific Rim has…2 weeks to make money before it’s profits get…Slashed by…The Wolverine! I am curious about Del Toro’s new film but it so far is only a…might see, rather than a…Must See Film for me.
Didn’t like 300 but saw the universally reviled Hangover 2 three times.

Yeah, I’m really surprised you enjoyed The Hangover 2 so much. The first one had it’s charms, but doing the same movie over again except bigger, raunchier and with more penis and cum jokes just didn’t do it for me. This was especially true with the annoying Mr. Chow as a major character this time around. To each his own I guess, but 3 times in the theater?! Yikes.
What will happen in the third one? Will “The Wolfpack” have to fly a 747 to escape a Filipino Tranny, or will they train a baby walrus how to pleasure an entire crime syndicate in order to make it to Alan’s wedding on time? I’m think I’m all set.
Ed Helms’ two songs were easily the highlights for me in those movies.
I had no problem seeing the same thing done over except raunchier, it doesn’t matter to me if a film is universally hated. If I like it, I like it.
