There are a ton of new images pouring out from Empire and other source for The Dark Knight Rises, some you may have seen and some that may have slipped by. Peruse the giant .jpeg dump below to see ’em all in one place including the first and second set of three posters atoning for that garbage one-sheet they put out earlier in the week.

The images are joined by some moving pixels in the form of TV spots, and I have to say they’re almost my favorite looks at the film so far. There’s some more pep and immediacy to them, as the trailers have settled for merely promising an ominous vibe. As things gear up expect to gain a better idea of the wider tonality of the film, if not many more plot specifics.
Here’s more of dem pics…

What is it with this particular cycle of Batman movies and WB’s inability to get any truly great artwork together for them? The only really solid poster for Batman Begins was the international one sheet, with all the domestic stuff being more or less garbage. Dark Knight had a couple clever or striking posters, but on the whole was fairly sterile and boring. These are just a mess.
The Dark Knight stuff was really good on the whole, epsecially compared to the majority of the junk out there. ALL movie poster artwork art stinks now. It’s beem that way since the late 90’s. These are better than average.
Wow, there was literally nothing wrong with that one-sheet. Oh I guess you don’t like Batman looking motherfucking badass standing in front of a flaming, destroyed city. Yeah, really lame. Fuck you whiney, bitchy, too-cool-for-school charlatans.
Seems to be the trend nowadays: bash everything TDKR related(even if it is badass) and compare it to the Avengers(which is pointless because they’re completely different). The same whiny bitches will be praising the film when it comes out you watch.
Unless it’s horrible.
I know we all have faith in Nolan, but holy Hell this thing looks worse and worse the more we see.
Bain again, really? Who honestly gives a crap about a one shot character from the 90s created entirely as a plot point?
Even Cat Woman looks uninspired.
It could end up being the Superman III of the franchise.
