Disney is spending a lot of cash promoting Tron Legacy, and one of the big ad buys they’ve made is a year-long billboard in Hollywood. The image changes every month, and the new image has been sent to us by Disney. We’ve seen some light cycle action in the past on the billboard, but now we’re getting into the Tron stuff I always dug as a kid: Killer Frisbee.

I cannot express how much I want this to be good. I've had enough of my childhood memories trashed by reboots, remakes and sequels that never needed to be made in the first place. I always wanted more Tron. But I also know it's important to be wary what you ask for, because now we're going to get it…..killer frisbee=fun
Wow, I am psyched for this movie but.. news like this is .. pretty weak. Reporting a Billboard? sheesh…
nice. can't think of another movie this year that looks as cool and unique as Tron. dec can't come soon enough

you see, he gloves only cover two of his fingers so he can charge up the DEADLY DISC with kinetic energy. I hope we get an HD remake of Deadly Discs of Tron for XBLA/PSN
I want Tron Legacy to be good, but I won't go so far as to say I'm worried about one of my childhood memories being ruined. Even as a kid, I found the original Tron kind of dull and cumbersome (though the designs were amazing eye candy). I know Disney can make a visually appealing film using the original Tron as a foundation. I'm hoping they make a compelling (or at least fun) film too.
