The first picture of Viggo Mortensen in Freud drag for A
Dangerous Method has arrived (as well as the first
pic of Michael Fassbender in Jung drag). For some reason Viggo is
clutching what appears to be a stuffed raven or crow. A chilly stuffed
bird, at any rate, as it’s wearing a scarf and hat. Did I miss some
element of Freud’s history?
A Dangerous Method is
the latest team-up between Mortensen and David Cronenberg; based on a
stage play (as opposed to a baseball play), the film (once called The
Talking Cure) examines the schism between Freud
and Jung, the fathers of headshrinking.

Good to see a new Cronenberg movie is finally in production.
I can't wait to see Jung's face when Bill and Ted drop by to pick Freud up for their history report…
It is, without question, the most boring screenplay I have ever read.
Viggo is a huge fan of San Lorenzo de Almagro, an Argentinean football (soccer) team. They are nickname "the crowes", and the colors are blue and red. That explains the bird he's holding.
@Javier: haha you know I pointed out that was a penguin — never realized it's a crow (of course!) — I explained the same thing in another site, how it is wearing San Lorenzo's colors..
All you Cronenberg fanboys need to give it up. The man who made Videodrome is long gone, and you know you are lying to yourself when you say History of Violence or Naked Lunch are good.
If anyone out there was unlucky enough to see his opera of The Fly, they'd know this Emperor burned his clothes.
A History of Violence is good. Eastern Promises is great.
