The last I heard, the Devil was (Supernatural Season 5 spoiler): back in his cage with big bro, Michael, and wearing Sam Winchester’s meat. So what the hell is he doing in an elevator? However he got there, that’s the premise of the upcoming M. Night Shyamalan-produced, Devil, which is directed by the Quarantine brothers, John Erick Dowdle and Drew Dowdle. The synopsis (via Wikipedia, as is the cool-ass poster to the right): Set in an office building, five strangers are riding in an elevator
when they suddenly find themselves trapped. After several terrifying
and inexplicable events occur, such as the local fire department unable
to open the elevator, the people begin to turn against each other when
they begin to suspect that one of them is in fact, the Devil.
There are two new TV spots over at YouTube (I caught ’em at Coming Soon), which you can see below. Devil stars Logan Marshall-Green, Bojana Novakovic, Geoffrey Arend, Chris
Messina, Caroline Dhavernas, Jacob Vargas and Bokeem Woodbine. It opens on September 17th.

I don't know about the movie but that poster is pretty damn cool.
I can not come up with any scenario in which I would suspect my fellow elevator passengers of being Satan, so looking forward to that little plot point. I know this is going to be horrific (not in the good sense) but I still want to see it??
When the trailer for this came on during Scott Pilgrim, the entire theater erupted in laughter as soon as M. Night Shamwow's name popped up. This movie looks horrible and is going to bomb hard.
5: Exact same thing happened here. I actually felt a little bad for M. Night. It does look terrible, but that's a slick poster idea.

The "Turn on the light!" line has the potential to become another irritating quote people ironically cite. It reminds me of Blair Witch's "I'm so scared" line or the Mothman Prophecy's "Chaaaaaaapstick."
