Oh man, the blood-splattered cotton makes me shiver.
While the trailer leaked many hours ago and TWC spent much of their day going after every embed, here now is the legit debut of the Django Unchained trailer. You know what you need to know, now gaze at how fucking goddamn awesome it looks. This looks like a remarkable follow up to Tarantino’s brilliant Basterds, and I couldn’t be more excited. Now watch it five times, and when it hits somewhere with a decent HD player, watch it a dozen more. That’s my plan, at least.

My first two favorite things:
– James Remar is in it! And he says “Last chance, fancy pants”
– That shot of the blood spraying on the cotton. Goosebumps.
Admittedly laughed at the “Django is off the chain!” bit.
Tell me you can’t see Quentin overexcitedly exclaiming that ebonics-style and then giggling at his own joke afterwards.
That first shot of DiCaprio turning and grinning is awesome.
Good seeing M.C. Gainey doing what he does best, as well as Remar, and Franco Nero!
Good to see DiCaprio hamming it up. He’s been in way too many dour roles recently. Waltz is going to fucking own this.
Can I buy my ticket yet?
“I like the way you die, boy! ”
wow Jamie Foxx is really impressing in me this it’s like he’s channeling the cinematic spirits of Richard Roundtree, Fred Williamson and Issac Hayes in a dirty old spaghetti western ie completely awesome! Love Dicaprio although he kind of reminds me of a mix of Tom Hanks in Ladykillers and Kenneth Branagh in Wild Wild West , which is cool but way unexpected all in all loving this and might surpass Kill Bill in the realm of coolness, nice job Quentin!
I’m sure this will be EXACTLY like Basterds….in that there are moments of pure brilliance, surrounded by self-indulgent QT masturbation. I WANT to love his movies…I really TRY to…but he makes it so damn hard. But hooboy, Leo looks like he’s having the time of his life. He will be the highlight for sure.
Oh boy, Christmas is gonna be special this year.
I like that last line – very meta.
God damn, that’s a pretty fucking good milkshake!
Well, OF COURSE Franco Nero is in a movie with “Django” in the title, goddammit. Can’t wait.
Looks so good!! But it’s strange to hear the same music in trailers for new the new Oliver stone movie Savages as well as in this. The two of them couldn’t think of something different.
